Do you take patio reservations?
We’ve stopped taking patio reservations for the colder months. You are welcome to book a dining room reservation and move outdoors upon arrival, weather permitting. Our patio will primarily be QR code service.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. If you are running late for your reservation, please give us a call. We will hold your table for 15 minutes after your reservation time.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do accept walk-ins, but reservations are encouraged.
Do you offer Bottomless Brunch?
The bottomless offer is valid for an hour and a half from your reservation time with the purchase of a brunch specialty or pizza. We offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11-2:30pm and the price of bottomless is $19.
Game Day 411
We’re the perfect spot to visit pre-game or post-game when attending Washington Nationals and DC United events at Nationals Stadium or Audi Field. We do accept reservations on game days and we typically have good availability during the game for walk-ins!
Do you have a dress code?
No, casual is fine!
What is the "Service Charge 20%" line item on my receipt?
All dine in orders will include an automatic 20% service charge. Take out orders include a 10% service charge. One hundred percent of this charge goes to increasing the wages of our staff to above the current minimum wage for all DC employees. This allows us to provide a guaranteed base wage to our front-of-house staff and to increase the wages of kitchen staff. We want to be able to ensure that our staff can earn a consistent, competitive living wage with us. There is no expectation to tip beyond this 20% charge, but you may do so if you wish. What is parking/public transport like?
Our nearest metro stop is Navy Yard and is about a 8-10 minute walk to our front door. If there are events at Nationals Park or Audi Field, street parking will not be available. There is a parking garage under our building, Dock 79, that is $12 an hour ($12 max after 5:00 p.m. and $50 during all stadium events) and a Park Mobile lot nearby at the Maren Apartment Building. Unfortunately, we are unable to validate parking at this time.
Are there stairs to reach the restaurant?
Our dining room, dining patio, and garden patio are accessible and there are no steps from the boardwalk to enter the restaurant.
Can you accommodate children?
Absolutely!
Do you allow dogs?
Yes! We love dogs, and welcome them on our dining patio, but not our roof top. We do caution that during periods of high volume, the patio can be noisy and crowded. If your pooch suffers from anxiety due to loud or sudden noise, or meeting new human or canine friends, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing them along.
Unfortunately, we are not legally permitted to host any pets in our dining room with the exception of service animals that are trained to provide a service related to a disability.
Sadly, emotional support animals can’t join us inside the restaurant.
I have a dietary restriction. Can you accommodate?
Yes, we will do everything in our power to provide you a dish you can eat! Most of our pizzas can be substituted with gluten-free dough. Many dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. Our pizza dough is vegan!
Do you allow outside wines or desserts?
Yes, you may bring in 1 bottle of wine per 2 guests. There is a corkage fee of $25 per bottle. If you bring in dessert there is a fee of $4 per person.
When is the roof open?
Our rooftop is closed for the season. We should be back in action in early April.
Does All-Purpose have a happy hour menu?
We do! We offer select food & beverage options with happy hour pricing on the patio and at the main bar.
Happy hour is available Wednesday thru Friday until 7:00pm.
We offer half price house cocktails on Wednesday from 5:00pm until close and 25% off all bottles of wine on Sundays from 5:00pm until close.
